Physical Therapist Yorkville, IL (50 miles west of Chicago)
We are looking for a dedicated Physical therapist to join our practice full time in Yorkville, IL. Our office is located approximately 50 miles west of Chicago. We are seeking an IL licensed Physical therapist with experience in outpatient musculoskeletal physical therapy, who enjoys doing manual work with the patients, helping them to reach their healthcare goals safely and effectively. The ideal candidate is compassionate, caring, and focuses on functional improvement, rather than only pain management. Must be comfortable treating a combination of spinal and extremity disorders, as well as post-surgical patients within a multidisciplinary rehab setting.

Our medical doctor, physical therapist, rehabilitation specialist, two rehabilitation technicians, certified athletic trainer and PTAs are supported by an equally skilled and dedicated staff. Instead of insisting on one or two types of care, we combine whatever healing methods may be necessary to help our patients obtain optimal function, comfort, and quality of life. Our wide range of services includes advanced diagnostics, chiropractic care, physical rehabilitation, massage therapy and physical therapy. We treat a variety of conditions with approximately 80% spinal and 20% extremity care as well as post-surgical cases.

Duties:
Physical Therapy patient evaluation/exam- review pertinent imaging/records
Outpatient musculoskeletal physical therapy
Regular reevaluating patient care for functional and pain improvement
Applying/assisting the prescribed exercises with the patients
Delegating treatment to assistants when necessary
Training staff on new exercise and techniques
Providing manual work for patients (15 min to 60 min)
Collaboration with the chiropractic physicians, MD, and other healthcare staff to help the patient reach their goals
Sending reports to referring physicians
Upholding state and national ethics and guidelines as expected of a PT
Stay current on continuing education requirements
Documentation and Progress notes
Patient education as to care plan options, therapies/modalities, and rehab exercises

Qualifications:
Licensed Physical therapist in IL
Willingness to work as a multidisciplinary team for optimal comprehensive patient care
Experience in outpatient musculoskeletal therapy preferred

Schedule:
Monday Friday (office hours end at 1 on Friday)
No weekend hours

Salary:
$45-$55 per hour (depending on experience)
