We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist to join our practice full time in Phoenix, AZ. Ideally, we are seeking a Licensed and experienced Physical Therapist who works well in a team-based setting to perform initial evals, re-evals, and discharge planning and evaluations, as well as construct and deploy evidenced-based treatment programs within the therapists scope of practice and knowledge base. We prefer the PT have some experience in balance and vestibular issues, but it is not required.

Our practice is in a newly renovated medical facility and is closely connected to an adjacent sports medicine and orthopedic physician group. As a physical therapist with us, you will work in an exciting and dynamic environment, with outstanding physical resources and equipment, as well as a clinical and administrative support staff that will help you effectively treat patients while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. The practice breakdown is estimated to be approximately 70% orthopedic/sports and 30% concussion/balance/vestibular/neurology. You will work autonomously alongside physicians, PAs, and other healthcare providers in orthopedics. Our medical clinic partner also conducts clinical and outcomes research and interested therapists will have the opportunity to participate in clinical research studies.
Duties:
Patient evaluation (new patient)-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs with goals and completion date
Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living based on treatment program
Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, home exercises, and on how to continue with care after the end of their treatment
Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit (Track and measure treatment effectiveness)
Collaboration with the other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
Supervise the PTAs, ATCs, technicians, and students
Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude
Requirements:
Graduation from a CAPTE approved Physical Therapy Program
PT License in AZ
Minimum 1 year experience as a PT
1+ year(s) of outpatient neuro/ortho center or vestibular/balance rehab experience preferred (additional training in vestibular/balance will be provided if needed)
Schedule:
Full time
40hrs/week
Compensation:
$85,000-$120,000 per year
